Yardstick Interiors was founded over 55 years ago in Washington, DC as a custom window-treatments design firm. Since the firm's inception, Yardstick has been dedicated to creating and developing unique window designs to provide elegance and beauty as well as privacy and functionality to both residential and commercial spaces. As the firm's reputation grew, three generations later, Yardstick is now a full-fledged interior design firm. Although still specializing in custom designed window-treatments, Yardstick's design staff is excited to approach any project, whether it is a complete interior remodel or simply a small window in a new nursery.

Yardstick Interiors' commitment to quality products and services is widely recognized in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Besides the design consultants, the Yardstick team includes a custom drapery workroom, professional upholsterer and installers, a full-time professional painter and a wide range of unique artisans.
